Lady 67 does not stoop anymore from gentle Tai Chi exercise

I wish to thank Gary and Janet for putting me on the right road to exercise for arthritis, diagnosed in my spine and both hips. About 3 years ago I started going to Gary for Podiatry (he is excellent, I feel like I am walking on air when I come out) and just in conversation I told him how much pain I was in. Although, he had noticed that I was increasingly walking with a “stoop”, which I hadn’t realised, and he told me about the benefits of gentle exercise and very kindly showed me some simple but effective movements. He advised me to start off with 10 – 20 minutes a day exercise and increase this slowly to 30 minutes a day, this was 2 years ago and I still do 30 minutes a day of the same exercises and I can’t believe the difference this has made to my life. I no longer walk with a stoop but walk upright and at 67 years of age I have some of my old agility back, so to Gary and Janet my heartfelt gratitude.
